That capability would certainly make the app much more of a tracker. I’m hoping the developer adds the ability to flag models so users can quickly build their own inventory. You can quickly look up the specs and familiarize yourself with the model. The user clicking on the link will need to have Mactracker 4.1 (macOS) or Mactracker 4.0 (iOS) or later installed. Mactracker comes in handy if you’re a collector like myself or if you’re in the market for a used Mac or other Apple hardware. This is a safe policy to follow but it inevitably causes confusion when memory vendors and dealers (and Mactracker) state that a computer will hold more memory than Apple says it will.
